Hey, everyone. I know what I'm about to reveal is totally unorthodox of me, but I have some news that I would like to bring to your attention.
Seeing as I have more free time than I had originally planned for when signing on to do these blogs, I've decided to give myself a bigger challenge that will force me into reaching into the depths of my writing limit (and also fatten up my resume, which is always a good thing).
I have decided to review another show. And no, it's not a Nickelodeon show.
"But, wait, you made a whole big deal about how much time it takes to do these reviews." That's when I was still in college. Due to current circumstances, I've basically been on a very long summer "vacation." So, I want to see just how far I can push myself to review two shows simultaneously. So I can beat my procrastination. So I can become a better writer. So I can stop wasting my day building Detroit-style houses on Sims 3 and watching so many YouTube videos that I start dreaming about them.
Also, as many of you probably know, I have a science fiction series in the works that I've kept on the backburner for too long now. I'm only 14,000 words in, and it's been like that for I don't even know how long. I figure if I get myself into the habit of writing more, I'll be more apt to continue writing, and be able to at least finish the first book by the end of the year. That is, if I stop wasting so much time. I consider this my quarter-life crisis.
And if I find that I've bitten off more than I can chew (for example, I find a job), then I will have to work that out somehow. So, in the next week or so (the actual launch date is yet to come), I present to you:
It's a much darker, and much edgier show than what I'm used to reviewing, but with only 29 22-minute long episodes to get through, I'm sure I can manage it if I really time the reviewing properly. More details about Black Lagoon: REVIEWED will come on Sunday night's blog.
I wish you all a great rest of the week, everyone!
Love,
Deebiedoobie
It's always great to push yourself.
